This application replicates the mechanics of an autoharp admirably. Simply press one of the chord buttons and strum to produce a melodic sound. The Autoharp app employs top-notch audio samples that adjust in volume according to your strumming pace, resulting in an authentic musical experience.

For those seeking a broader range of sounds, Autoharp offers integrated chorus, delay, and reverb effects. Users have the ability to customize each effect and activate them in various combinations. Through an in-app purchase, it is possible to save multiple effects configurations and switch between them conveniently.

In addition to its standalone features, Autoharp can also function as a MIDI controller when paired with other MIDI equipment. By strumming its strings, users can transmit note-on commands to external devices, enabling the creation of diverse sounds. The MIDI commands include velocity values based on the strumming speed for enhanced musical expression.

Advanced users have the option to personalize Autoharp's string and chord layout, optimizing the sound output for specific songs or experimenting with different setups prior to modifying a physical autoharp. Through an additional in-app purchase, users can assign notes to each string (with a selection of 53 notes available) and allocate strings to each chord bar (either 15 or 21), then effortlessly switch between saved layouts.
